How to get Macbook-scenes also on a Windows Laptop?

QUESTION: If I export an OBS scene from my MacBook Pro (M1) and import it on a Windows-laptop. Will it work (without issues)?

WHY:
I frequently use OBS during lectures and workshops to combine and being able to switch between several signals (presentation, excel, video-output, browser etc.) .
Unfortunately sometimes I have a problem connecting my MacBook Pro to the presentation system at a venue. Others have no problem then with their Windows-laptops.
Considering buying a Windows laptop as a back-up for those cases.

all the same without path (some diffrent Win vs MacOs).
If you add e.g. picture on Mac, after export must change path on Windows.

As far as I know, window/game capture/display capture works slightly different, so it may be you get the sources themselves imported, but you have to edit the properties of every such source to link to the corresponding app. The Windows version of OBS is also only able to capture the main window of an app - I saw the Mac version is able to capture every window at the same time, so if you rely on that feature, it's not possible on Windows.

In my opinion, a Windows laptop as backup for a Mac laptop isn't feasible. They're two completely different environments.
