In some videos I've seen a couple of options for adding a vlc source so you can use playlist files as a media source.
However after doing some reading it appears that the option doesn't show up until you install the 64 bit version of VLC.
Since I love portable programs I tend to use these two programs in their portable modes and therefore I was wondering if there is some other way to enable this option/feature.
