Question / Help How to Edit saved video tutorials

Hello,

I am looking for a software, to record screen movements and audio in an video file to use it as a video tutorial for friends.

It seems, that I found with OBS Studio what I was looking for.

But I also want to edit these videos. e.g.:

• Cut wrong scenes at the beginning and ending
• cover sensitive datas, as passwords, etc.
• mark / highlight areas
• write additional information
• ...

I didn´t find any user guide or tutorial for these purpose. Is this possible?

OBS Studio is not a video editor. So we don't have any tutorials for that, I'm sure there are plenty on Youtube.

Try Windows Movie Maker..It's free and pretty good and easy..

You can edit using Adobe Premiere and After Effects

Depending on one's budget, this might be out of range.
Then alternatives might be: DaVinci Resolve (the free version) and for simplicity: OpenShot Video Editor.
