I haven't had an Xserve for years but I'm reading that the last officially supported OS was El Capitan. Perhaps that info is just out of date. But hey, if it works for you, go for it-- you should be able to run the latest OBS and the NDI plugin on Sierra without problem, that's what I am running now.

My bad !
The Xserve run on El Capitan and OBS = 21,11 :)

So, the plugin run fine, but how I can send only in NDI from OBS Client to OBS Server ? I can just select the output "stream on internet" or record on the local disk.
I can see the obs ndi stream from obs client on the obs server

Thanks !

PS : I see now on the AppStore, i can upgrade the Xserve 3.1 on High Sierra

If all you're doing is streaming to clients on the LAN, you don't actually need to look at the output and streaming settings.

For the instances of OBS you want to send video FROM, go to the Tools menu, choose the NDI Output Settings option. Give the NDI source a name, and turn the output on by checking the tickbox.

You then need to add a source of.. whatever it is you want to stream-- desktop, video file, connected USB camera, whatever.

Then, on the Xserve, add NDI sources. When you right-click an NDI source and choose "Properties" you'll see a list of active NDI sources on your local area network.
