using OBS 26.1.1 with Camlink devices and outputting Virtual Camera (native plugin) feed to my browser. everything works great, however...
I'm seeing a noticable delay in the preview window from the video capture device (more so than in Windows, about 1 second)
and even more delay in the Virtual Camera stream to the browser (~1.2 seconds)
I am expecting the virtual camera output to have some delay of course, however, due to the input delay it makes it really out of sync with my audio when using the OBS Virtual Camera in conference calls...
the USB device (CamLink) is directly connected to the PC through USB 3.0 connection, not through a hub (there was even more delay through a hub!) and I have dual boot, and comparing to Windows on the same hardware, there is definitly a large difference.
so the question is, how to best debug where the issue is so I can perahps ask better questions here :)
