How to create a low latency srt stream?

I was following the guide here https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/wiki/Streaming-With-SRT-Protocol on getting an srt stream from OBS to VLC. On OBS I've passed the argument latency.

srt://192.168.1.13:10000?latency=50000

To set latency to 50ms.
On the same machine I'm setting vlc to that url, the video shows up but the latency is almost ~1second. I'm in a wifi network.

Any thoughts?

OBS's SRT support appears to ignore all latency and network buffer size settings. Even with a hardware encoder configured to use 10 millisecond latency, with the network buffer set to zero, OBS always shows video about a second later than real-time. I'm going to file a bug.

If i remember it's impossible to set 10 ms, minimum for Audio is 20 ms, for video is 80ms.
But yes OBS has somethings wrong with SRT e.g. i can't connect to vMix (i check 1 year ago).
