I have an outdoor videocamera connected to Youtube. The camera is important for a number of people.
The stream from my camera is set to 720P.
The camera's settings page show that the bandwidth from the camera is 3072 Mb/s
The OBS software output varies between 9 and 11 Mb/s. This bandwidth is more than my ISP guarantees.
The result is that Youtube warns of low bandwidth and finally shuts down the streaming channel.
Why does the data stream bandwidth increase from 3Mb/s to 10 Mb/s when the stream is encoded in OBS?
It seems that the bandwidth out of OBS is only insignificantly affected if I change the bandwidth from the camera.
How can I reduce output bandwidth from OBS to Youtube?
- The camera is Reolink.
- I use OBS for coding toYoutube.
- My internet account is limited to 10 Mb/s.
