How to completely remove OBS Virtual Camera

There was a plugin installed on the camera. I uninstalled OBS, uninstalled the plugin, and the camera does not work. The OBS camera is displayed everywhere instead of the standard Mac camera
The /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL folder is empty.
All OBS folders are deleted. I tried installing the OBS and completely uninstalling it again, it didn't help.

Used the commands:
sudo rm -rf /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL/obs-mac-virtualcam.plugin
sudo rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/obs-studio/plugins/obs-mac-virtualcam
Also didn't help

Did you ever find out how to remove it? OBS virtual camera is preventing me using my real camera in Chrome applications and even after removing OBS I still have the OBS logo every time I try to access an app that uses the webcam. In some of them I can choose my phone as a webcam, but in others I only have OBS which isn't even installed any more. This is driving me nuts!

I have the same problem. OBS logo appears everywhere (Zoom, Teams, Photo Booth, Hand Mirror, etc.), even after a complete uninstallation. I can't use my monitor's built-in camera anymore, I can only select my iPhone camera.

I managed to fix the problem on Mac. To remove OBS Virtual Camera, I restarted in Recovery Mode and temporarily disabled System Integrity Protection (SIP). You might need an internet connection to re-enable SIP at the end. See the two attached files for all the details

And if you don't want to copy/paste my commands, you can also ask an AI: “Can’t remove OBS virtual camera on Mac. How to disable system extensions through Recovery Mode?”

Now I just need to figure out how to reinstall OBS without this problem happening again…
