Question / Help How to change output quality of my stream on OBS and Streamelements version

My stream is very laggy on twitch but i don't lag in game, ive looked at all the settings many times over and cant seem to find where it says output resolution or anything like that. I've tried reading forums watching videos and i cant seem to find a up to date version of OBS or a recent video describing my situation since i cant change it from 1080p my stream only lags about every 1 does it lag for 20-30 mins

Please try to include a recording/streaming session when you experience problems while streaming or recording,
as OBS only writes important performance data during recording or streaming sessions.

If you have solved your problem yourself, please let the others know how you did it If someone else has the same problem,
