Hello everybody, i know that for OBS on windows, it's really easy to capture only inside the windows.

Is it possible to do the same on Mac ? I didn't find and it should be really helpfull for me

I don't want to use transformation, so if you have an other way i will be happy to know about it.

Thanks by advance

@Alendris Hmm,there are two ways(actually 3) to do this:

1.Display capture.In the preview,use a crop filter(Right-click->Filters->'+' button->Crop) and crop it to your liking.

2.Game capture.The best way to capture an app,unfortunately only works on certain apps(apps that render with OpenGL,to be precise).Try it out for a bit to see what works and what doesn't.

3(Not recommended).Window capture.Captures just like what you stated,the app window.Might cause lag and high CPU usage due to how Apple implemented the window's API.

Correct me if I'm wrong,devs.

I used display capture who was working well on PC. There it's working to but i can't capture just inside the window.

For exemple if i want to capture VLC, i have by default all VLC even with management button. And if o do transformation, the format of the windows doesn't sweat with what i want to do.

Game capture working well but not to capture a media for exemple.
