How to capture 4K resolution

I made many searches but came up empty, I'm sure there is a simple answer to this but what I would like to know is how to capture in 4K resolution. please note my current monitor is only HD 1920x1080 but my capture device is 4K

Just set your canvas and output resolution to 3840x2160. You can type in the boxes in Settings->Video. Then make sure your Video Capture Device source is set to capture at 4K.
