Strange situation (applied to OBS 0.11.4 and 0.12.0 both)

§1 When OBS capturs videos directly from a webcam (Logitech) C920 and apply a chroma filter, it produces jagged edges as seen in http://picpaste.com/jOz9H0td.png and http://picpaste.com/bnTr2dyP.png
§2 But when I input a camera capture either using guvicview or ffmpeg, and piped to OBS as a media source and apply a chroma filter, the jagged edges disappear as seen here http://picpaste.com/hWTHR5hS.png.
§3 Thus, the culprit seems to be the OBS Cam capture quality or something inherent inside OBS as evident from my experimentation above?
§4 Is there any tweak so that OBS natively captures camera input so that no jagged edges gets produced as in §2 above?
