How to add game audio on MacOS

I use OBS on my Macbook air and i play on Xbox series S. I use a capture card and a chatlink cable and im able to display my gameplay on OBS but i cant figure out how to add game audio. Any suggestions? I tried installing IshowU to help it out but it didnt work.

Does your capture card also appear as a sound card? Some do. You might be able to get audio from there.

The same way you see any other sound card. If your capture device does that, it would appear to the computer as two devices: one for a silent picture and another for blind sound. As far as the computer is concerned, those are two completely separate functions; it doesn't know that that sound goes with that picture.
