Question / Help How to actually run powerpoint

Hello all.
My issue is not the recording or presenting of the powerpoint, but how to actually run it when only using one laptop. Using Windows 10, 4 different scenes, and outputting to a projector. Everything works fine - other than not being actually able to RUN the powerpoint. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? I have tried multiple tricks, both nothing is seamless. This is odd as a number of other presenting programs allow you to run the powerpoint from within the software while streaming / recording. The rest of OBS is really nice, so I find this a very odd way of using a pretty popular ( PP ) program.

Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated!

I'm a bit confused. OBS isn't a presentation program, PowerPoint is. OBS doesn't integrate with PowerPoint in any way, it just captures its output, the way it captures any other application's output.

If you're using OBS to record a powerpoint, then you run the powerpoint exactly the same way you would if you weren't recording it.

Thanks... Turns out it was an easy fix. I just have to highlight PP in the task bar and all the controls work fine...

Sometimes, I´m confused about capturing programs using OBS. Sometimes, even highliting them on the task bar doesn´t make it appear on the OBS window capture. Sometimes does, and sometimes don´t. Sometimes, I close the application and reopen in order to them appear as an option to capture. I don´t know what may be I am doing wrong.

This question wasn't about capture, it was about using the computer to advance slides in the slideshow.
