Question / Help How often is a 'read from file' text input supposed to update?

I set up a text file and did read from file text input in OBS Studio for Mac and it won't update when I edit the file.

Am I wrong in thinking that's supposed to be constantly checking the text file for changes?

Chat Log mode worked.

I then turned off Chat Log mode and it was still working... maybe it was that I just needed to reopen OBS.
