Question / Help how is obs optimized ?

Macbook pro 2010, after obs launch fans work faster than while gaming. And that while idling (no streaming/recording). Are we on the lowest level of СPU load, or we can see some improvements later?

Streaming is intensive on the CPU, this is not something that will be able to be improved with the current technology. You can "optimize" by lowering your settings in OBS so there is less strain on the CPU, or by switching to an available hardware encoder.

but it's not while streaming/recording , even when preview is off

so with version 0.14.2 I have 114% CPU load without streaming and recording, is it ok?

While streaming cpu usage is around 126-136%
