How do you transmit video signals over long distances such as 100 ft.?

I have cameras that have USB outputs and Firewire (iLink) outputs and I want to link them up at the back of the church--not the middle of the church . How do you link them up at the back without spending thousands of dollars?

You might try a USB Ethernet Extender RTX for up to 100 meters over CAT5 cable.

The more common problem is HDMI, which is limited to about 15 feet. I use an HDMI to 3G SDI converter. SDI uses single-conductor shielded cable with locking BNC connectors, up to 100 meters. Most switchers are either HDMI or SDI (or both). With USB, you probably need a separate input for each signal.

I run HDMI over Cat 6 up to 150' using these from Amazon. I've setup several churches this way with no problems so far...

Thank you so very much.
