Made a little video to better explain my perdicament...
NOTE: I have been able to sort of roughly estimate the ratio by making educated guesses as to what the fullscreen is going to look like when I crop and resize the source for when it will show up as windowed. But I keep thinking there has to be a better way... this is needlessly convoluted; not to mention frustrating when it turns out you have to work with an almost non-existant source as it has been cropped to nothingness around the time when you start to achieve what you want with the fullscreen dimensions.
