First of all I don't need it to "auto zoom",the camera.
I just want a motion sensing and following pivot head that can attach to my single point of contact pair of stereoscopic cameras so that it'll follow me in panning from left to right and forward to backward in the room without zooming in (because the best advice for beginner stereoscopic filmers is if you're going to filmbthe room in 3D as it really is, don't use auto zoom. Use a "walking zoom" instead, if you zoom. I understand basically that they will be stationary birds on the perch who will follow your motion by pivoting the camera's neck.).
I don't know if you could buy a computer controlled pivot head that can be controlled by USB computer attached to a completely independent webcam which is stereoscopic via 1/4 20 connector.
I don't need the pivot head to interface with the camera because the cameras are stationary cameras both in physical position as well as in settings.
Also would OBS have computer controls for following the subject or would that have to be a separate program to follow the subject in the room?
Also is there a home position so that when I film with a guest and the guest doesn't want to be seen I have a place for them that is off camera that is close to the TV and I don't want the camera accidentally moving or pointing at them in stationary guest incognito mode?
