How do I video record popup windows in Photoshop?

Hello. I am new to OBS video desktop recording.

I need to record my editing in photoshop for YouTube videos. However, while recording in OBS I'll open a tool, such as Curves, but the popup box for Curves does not appear in the video.

How do I record all of what I do in photoshop including the popup boxes?

If there is a video that will easily show this please post a link.

use display capture instead of window capture, the curves dialog box counts as a new window.

Thank you. That seems to have fixed it.

When I switched to the "display capture" mode I got this attached infinity effect on the OBS monitor screen. Is there a way to fix this or is it something that doesn't matter?

if you have 2 monitors you can move the obs window to a different monitor but it won't matter as long as OBS is not in the foreground.

There's also an option in general settings to hide the main window from screen capture (including OBS itself).
