How do I remove the fullscreen projector window from the task bar?

When I right click the program window and select fullscreen projector (to my second screen) on OBS, it creates a second OBS window on my taskbar. Any way to remove it or set it so that it is not there on my taskbar?

Not really. Far as I know, this is an OS-level requirement. You can set your taskbar to auto-hide though, so only the projector window is shown on the screen.
What is the use-case that needs its removal?

Thanks for the reply. Its admittedly not that I NEED it..
But I run a church stream and I do have to switch between OBS and other apps quickly, and I prefer the convenience of having OBS open right away when clicking on it on the taskbar, instead of clicking on it, then waiting for the often laggy window previews to pop up (containing the OBS program and the windowed projector) then selecting OBS. It just kinda slows me down and ruins the fluidity of quickly app switching. I suppose that may be more of a gripe with windows in this very specific use case.

Again, not the biggest deal in the world, but I'm just trying to increase efficiency and speed as much as possible when it comes to switching apps, since I often have to look up passages for the speaker in real time, and so I have to be quick. I have to switch apps to look up the verse using one program, then switch back to OBS to switch the scene so the verses are displayed live, I'm looking to make that whole process as quick and seamless as possible. Idk, Maybe I'm just crazy.

I think I'm still missing why the projector icon on the taskbar not being there would contribute to or detract from that?

Are you confusing which monitor the primary OBS window 'lives' on, and are mis-clicking on a projector sometimes, rather than having OBS always-open and in one spot on a specific production monitor?

What happens on my computer, is that OBS creates two windows on the single OBS icon(one for the OBS the program, and another for the fullscreen projector, because I am projecting to a screen) so if I'm on another app and I want to go straight back to OBS, when I click OBS on the taskbar, it doesn't go straight into OBS, it makes me select between entering the OBS app or the Fullscreen projector.

I'm never going to need to click on the Fullscreen projector, because all I need is to project the image, that additional window created is useless. I want to eliminate it and have OBS, the application, open right away when I click it on the taskbar, which is only possible if there is a single OBS window open, so I'm not forced to make an additional selection regarding which OBS window I specifically want to open when I click OBS on the taskbar. I do need OBS to project to my second screen, but I don't really need it to open a separate fullscreen projector window on my taskbar for that.

The worship program I use had the same thing (it created a window icon in the task bar just for the projector) but I found a setting to remove that, so it wouldn't add an unnecessary window to the program, while of course still projecting the image.
Not sure if I am making any sense...

In Win10, you can adjust your task bar settings. Right-click on the task bar, select Taskbar Settings, then scroll down to Combine Taskbar Settings. Select the one you want to use.
