How do i make the screen fit to size

I hope someone can help, playing around with OBS last night and noticed that my background image isn't taking the whole of the screen, the bits in red are the dead space..

Does anyone know fix for this, please?

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish
Your picture/background has a certain aspect ratio that does NOT match your screen aspect ration
So - are you going to edit (change) the picture/background? stretch the picture/background? crop the background?

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to stretch the picture/background to fill the screen - just not sure how to?!

Right click on source - choose transform
Or select source , drag and drop red corners
I strongly recommend watching an OBS beginners tutorial, or reading a getting started guide
