How do I make local text file refresh every second?

Hello, I just want to know how to make my local text file source refresh every 5 seconds.
I can provide more info along the way if needed.

According to https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/read-from-text-file-refresh-rate.73589/ OBS is hard coded for 1 second. It appears this can be changed pre-compilation (or possibly by hex editing a dll file). These are beyond my scope of support.
