Question / Help How do I limit the rate here?

I finally realized why the fps monitor in the bottom right was dropping in the preview (and when live) down to 9.38:

It appears to me that the software is trying to capture way to many frames.
I am aware of the ability to limit capture rate on Game Capture, but it is doing it on scenes with only a jpeg present as well.
Please advise.

## I could post a log...
However, the stream is going out flawlessly.
The issue is the GPU is getting so overloaded that it is causing stutter in game, on my one pc setup.
(I have an EVGA 1080ti FTW). This doesn't happen when OBS is closed.

Here's the log, nonetheless

This is more likely a bug with EVGA's overlay. Injecting overlays into OBS or games being captured is not supported in any case.

It drops to 9.38 no matter if the overlay is present or not my friend. I just realized why with the utility up.

## I've been investigating this issue for months.

PrecisionX is known to cause a TON of issues with OBS. You need to add OBS as an exclusion to the overlay.

Source: I had the same exact issues until I did so.
