Question / Help How do I get my mouse to be seen in a particular program?

I am using OBS to record myself using another program called smooth draw 3. I use it to make videos on drawing. Here's my problem:

- I am using display capture.
- I have the box ticked off to capture my mouse
- When I use smooth draw 3, my mouse is completely visible on a white background,

The problem, is that I use a black or sometimes dark grey background for recording my videos. My mouse does not show up on black or dark grey backgrounds even though the box is ticked off. This is incredibly annoying, because how am I supposed to show people what to draw when they can't see my curser?

Also it is important to not, that when I use a black background in smooth draw 3, I CAN see my curser, and it is white. But when I play back the video, it just doesn't show up.

Not clear what effect you want to achieve.
For cursor capture you need leave Capture Cursor option checked (for 'Display Capture' or 'Window Capture' sources of OBS Studio).

The smoothdraw 3 itself has cursor (usually crosshair shape) and cursor helper (circle of brush size). Last object (helper) is different from cursor and always captured by OBS Studio as part of the window area, because it's different object.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...
