Question / Help How do I fix the lag on my recordings? *HELP*

I have two monitors. The primary monitor in front of me is the monitor that is being recorded. I'm not going to be streaming only recording. The second monitor on my right is where obs will be opened. When I have Fortnite opened full screen on my primary monitory and I am moving my mouse around the screen then obs starts to lag and once I check my recording the fps seems to be very low. Although once I click off Fortnite onto my second monitor, the fps goes back to normal and there is no lag until I click back on Fortnite on my primary monitor. So when I click on my primary monitor, the preview on obs is lagging, when I click off onto my secondary monitor, the preview on obs stops lagging and goes to how the recording are supposed to look. Please help how do I fix this?? I tested this out and the lag doesn't appear while recording my chrome or the desktop, only games.

- upload a new log file, where you did record something (this log is just showing OBS start and close)
- Disable Windows 10 Game DVR
- remove Display Capture and Window Capture from your scenes (only use game capture)
- limit ingame fps and reduce details until the GPU load stays under ~95%

I think this is a new log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/o7vgPU5pGR0Qk0v9
How do you limit ingame fps and reduce details until the GPU load stays under ~95%?

By setting an ingame fps limit ingame (if such option is available) or by using tools like Riva Tuner Statistics Server.
