Question / Help How do I fix mouse cursor not showing in window capture?

I'm running OS X El Capitan 10.11.4.

So yesterday I was streaming, and I'm a newbie to this world of streaming. For about an hour and a half, my mouse cursor was showing up during window capture. Then it suddenly stopped working for whatever reason, and now it refuses to show the cursor.

Anyway, I searched around and saw this:

So, it would seem like there's a solution there.

However, I have very little knowledge about computers and I just have *no idea* how I can turn this piece of info on github into a working fix for OBS Studio on my Mac.

Anybody know? I'm assuming that there's some kind of file that I need to modify, but I have no idea where to begin.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You pester apple to allow capture of the cursor.

Lol Harold...but it *was* initially capturing the mouse cursor; plus it would seem like the github file I linked relates to a fix of this issue, no? Or am I misinterpreting that github file?

The Github issue you linked is for display capture, not window capture.

Aha, okay, Sapiens - my bad. So as things stand, there is no mouse cursor capture for window capture?
