Question / Help How can it be obvious when recording stops for whatever reason but not streaming?

I thought of using the latter to verify the former, but no, apparently one can crash while the other goes on, and since obs has no notifications whatsoever I'm none the wiser and then stuck with a low quality stream if I want what's missing. Obs crashes so much and yet has nothing that makes it obvious it did unless a manual check is done (and no pause to check, what a combination of ruination...)
