Question / Help How can I run OBS Studio in a different folder than C:/Program Files/obs-studio?

Hi there, I mainly use StreamElements OBS but for a podcast I do with my mates, I used standard OBS Studio, the only issue is, I can't exactly have them in the same folder, so with some research I tried moving standard OBS into a different folder and running it in Portable Mode, but I got the error message: 'Failed to create directory ../../config/obs-studio/basic'. I've tried a clean install of OBS Studio which I didn't run after installing, but even that didn't work. What can I do?

Portable mode means OBS must be able to write to the folder its running from, you can't write to program files without administrator privileges. Run it from your desktop or elsewhere under your user account.
