How can I reduce audio lag with zoom

I am in a situation where we are trying to have performers in separate locations all trying to perform together, and the lag time makes it really hard for them to do any synchronous work or linking cues...

Not ease to overcome. Everyone should strive for the best possible connection—wired, rather wifi if at all possible—and make sure nothing extra is running. But, really, you're at the mercy of all the internet connections between all of you. Some services, such as JamKazam, attempt to address this, but it's not an easy problem.
