How can I import/scrape live data from webpages? XML/RSS?

Hi, as the title might suggest, I'm not 100% sure what I need to utilise to get the result I want. I have looked around the forum and can't see anyone mention this specific issue. I have been trying to figure it out over the last few days but myself, but I really need some help now.

What I am doing is creating a YouTube channel which will have lots of continuous streams of live information. Such as counters from websites like worldometers etc as well as various other sources. I want all of these to be displayed in uniform text so, I clearly need to format the information somehow.

As a back up, I know I can add webpages from "browser" and crop completely until I only have the information I need. This though is the equivalent of cutting out headlines from various newspapers and sticking all together on one page. It'll be ugly, and I image will have quite a high bitrate too.

I genuinely don't know how to work this out and I'm reaching the end of my limited knowledge. I taught myself a lot of html years ago so if I need to learn something, like CSS or C++ for example then I will. I just need to know that that's what I need to do lol.

I tried to use a website that creates an RSS feed for you which I hoped I'd then be able to format but a lot of the parts I wanted to use from those sites didn't seem compatible. Like I say it's mainly live counts and if possible a curated news feed related to certain subjects or which contain keywords.

Of course, there could be a really nice plugin I've not heard of that will do this for me :) but I get the feeling its not going to be that simple.

I appreciate any reply whatsoever so thank you in advance. Anything that might steer me in the right direction will be helpful. Thank you.
