Question / Help How can I diagnose if OBS studio is crashing my PC?

I have multiple log files but am honestly not sure how to read them to diagnose if OBS studio is the cause of my PC crashing.

It only occurs when I am broadcasting; I typically do not have any issues with maintaining frame-rate or bit-rate however, seemingly at random my computer will hard lock only while streaming. The entire PC will freeze (only way to get any response is to manually hold down power and reboot it) and the audio will "crash" as in the insanely loud sound static in my earbuds.

Honestly I'm just trying to figure out if its my hardware of OBS itself.

not the ram, did a mem test and everything came up fine, i did overclock my cpu but just barely and the problem was happening long before I did that so it's not impossible but unlikely.

I cleaned with DDU and reinstalled all my nvidia drivers and we'll see if it happens again.

could it be a motherboard issue or something to do with sound drivers/devices?

Pardon my lack of understanding, how is using nvenc detrimental to broadcasting? Not being sarcastic or anything just genuinely don't know.

yeah you probably could, like 720p30@3500
hw encoders offer generally lower quality at same bitrate. but if using nvenc for performance reasons make sure to fix this mem clock nonsense
