Question / Help Hotkeys not working - yes admin enabled

I have Windows 10, using 64bit and have admin enabled on the app, and the hot keys only work when OBS is active window.

I have tried many combinations (cntrl, alt, numpad, etc.) To no avail.

I have read numerous threads on the fix being admin, but there's got to be something I am missing.

What hotkeys are you trying to use?

I tried cntl alt f12, then cntl f12, then numpad 9, then cntrl numpad 9, then just a, then cntrl * (on numpad)
