Question / Help Hotkeys Not Functioning In-Game?

I have been trying to get myself ready for streaming. I install OBS Studio with Browser Source, run it after the install, and I am then able to use my hotkeys within the OBS Studio and when in game.

However, after I close this "version" of OBS Studio and try to reopen it again from OBS Studio Application on my Desktop, I can still use my hotkeys within OBS Studio, but when I try it in game, it no longer works.

The game I am trying to record is Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

I tried Runescape, and the hotkeys work perfectly fine there, within OBS Studio and in game

I don't believe it is the game, yet I can't figure out what the problem is. How can I fix this issue with my hotkeys?

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's because it's such an old game, and so will need compatibility mode and to be run as an administrator. I've never found any kind of global hotkey set by a non-administrator program to work when an program running as administrator in focus.

But yeah, if it's the administrator thing, running OBS as an administrator should solve it!
