Question / Help Hotkeys aren't working.

I tried using the hotkeys when I'm doing something else like playing a game or just in another program and the hotkey function doesn't work. I have to click settings and ok and then click the hotkey to work.

Any solution to this?

Are you using standard keyboard and casual keys or it's macro keys and special keyboard, custom driver and custom configuration software? If some kind of macro is used then make sure that additional software running as admin too. It should generate signal for pressed state of the key at least 10ms long, only then generate release signal (this was tested by me for AnyHotkey application and standard PS/2 keyboard with default auto-repeat rate about 20-30 symbols per second and delay about 350-250ms). Otherwise, OBS Studio can miss the key event.

i noticed some hotkey issues once, if you have shadowplay enabled.
if so, disable shadowplay (nvidia share) and try again
