Dear all,
myabe I didn't find it in the forum. Then I'd like to excuse for the thread in advance.
Is there a plugin that shows me all my Hotkeys binded in OBS or even makes it possible to exort this list to excel and in return to import it from excel?
This would be such a great help I think, since I've the feeling that I'm running out of hotkeys, controlling my stream.

Kindest Regards to all

Of course, there's Settings -> Hotkeys, but I take it you're looking for something that you can open as a spreadsheet or paste directly into one, edit there, and send back to OBS?

Hello Aaron,
that's what I was thinking of. A Spreadsheet, where I can see all my Hotkeys at once. Maybe like a "Excel-Sheet" or so. It is very unhandy to check in the Hotkey section "which key is already use and which is not". SInce I use the "Shift", "Alt", "Control" also in combination, it is getting confusing :-)

Well, it probably won't be *Excel*, because that's proprietary and OBS is open source. However, CSV (comma-separated values) is plain text, and as long as you don't care about formulas and formatting, works pretty much the same way. Open that in your favorite spreadsheet editor (there are many), use all of its functions, and then save as CSV again.

Or, use the clipboard in CSV or tabbed format. Copy from OBS and paste directly into the spreadsheet, then copy out of the spreadsheet and directly into OBS, with no file in between. But that would probably take some extra work to make sure that the copied formatting from every spreadsheet app is the same or can be parsed anyway. Probably better to require the CSV file in between. Let each app handle the translation from itself to a known standard.

That doesn't exist yet either, as far as I know, but I don't think it'd be too hard to add for someone that knows the code enough to not break something else in the process.
3 new buttons in Settings -> Hotkeys:
  • Save to CSV
  • Merge from CSV
  • Replace from CSV (removes all and then merges)
Or 2 buttons - Save and Load - with options for how to load. Anyway, it should still require Apply or OK to actually do anything, same as if you changed them manually.

Thx Aron, I think CSV would also be perfect. I hope someone is picking up our idea, since I'm not so deep into OBS as to know where to look for the Hotkey entries. It would be great if someone could provide souch an App, plugin, workaround, whatever.
