Question / Help Hotkey for transition doesn't work

I set the transition hotkey to ctrl+t but when I use it nothing happens. I set up the transition in studio mode but nothing happens. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Are you running OBS as admin? Some programs will block OBS from reading hotkeys unless it's run as an administrator.

Yes I am. I should add when I'm in studio mode the transition works fine, but when I leave studio mode it doesn't. If I stay in studio mode the transition works but no other hotkeys work.

Well, the transition hotkey is only for Studio mode, so that makes sense. Can you try clicking on a blank part of the OBS window (i.e. part of the background next to the preview window) and see if the hotkeys start working again?

Thanks, this is because hotkeys are disabled while the scenes/sources list is in focus (i.e. selected/highlighted). It's a bit confusing, but hope that helps!
