Set up Macbook pro 15" 2.7 gHz i7 processor 16gb Ram.
OBS = 25.0.8
I have a scene with the left half of screen from web cam.
Right hand of screen is image slide show. = 9 jpg's from export of PPTX. (This is lector reading the Bible verses that appear in the slide show on the right side .)
Studio Mode is OFF.
Hot key to advance scenes works just fine. When this scene is selected it appears on the output as expected.
HOWEVER --- the hotkey I set ( the up arrow or right arrow on another try) will not advance the slide.
If I click on the source in the source listing so it has focus. The keys work. This however is not a viable option for running the presentation.
Searching for help has turned up nothing.
Attached is the current log file.
Thanks.

You may want to check your hotkeys setting under advanced

Set to never disable hotkeys. Hotkeys to change scenes seem to always work. Hotkey to change slides in image slide show is my problem

I am also having a problem with hotkeys. They work fine and then suddenly stop working in the middle of live streaming for no rhyme or reason. If I exit OBS and reload then hotkeys start working again, but obviously this can't be done in the middle of live streaming. All settings are OK and I've found no on-line help. Seems random enough to be a software issue?

I've come across this too and have found a way that works on my 2015 MBP. Clicking on the scene with the cursor (focus) resolved it for me. The moment the focus moves to the main window or somewhere else the hotkeys stop working. I hope this helps.

I've come across the same problem, but after fiddling a little, I have found a solution - hope it works for you too:
Click settings gear next to the "Transition" button and uncheck "duplicate sources".
Your slideshow should now advance on hotkeys again.

I have just discovered this same problem on my Macbook Pro running Catalina (as per my signature). I am setting this up as a 2nd machine using a copy of my Profile from my iMac (as per my signature) which has never had this issue.

There is another thread that is running regarding an issue with Hot Keys : HotKeys stopped working with an update of OBS

I've posted there myself. Might be worth checking that out too.

Oddly I've just fired up OBS and now my Hot Keys are working fine, Macbook wasn't even restarted, just woken from sleep. I can't seem to get them NOT to work now! Very strange.

Also have this problem. Have set "Never disable hotkeys", still not there. Have reinstalled OBS Studio, still not there. Can only see "show" and "hide" nothing more.

I also can't see this "duplicate sources" option anywhere.
