Question / Help Hod do I monitor live sound through OBS?

I'm using OBS for live streamed concerts, but can never monitor the set up unless it's broadcast and recorded and I listen to the playback. I've been into the Settings sections in Audio and tried changing the Monitor setting in the advanced section, but with no results. I'm trying out a new set up running a Soundcraft Signature 12 MTK mixing board with multiple pics into OBS and really want to try to balance the sound ahead of time. How can I do that?? Thanks!

Can you share a screenshot of what your "Advanced Audio Properties" settings look like?

I'm new to this and am having the same issue. I record ... but can't figure out how to hear anything live. When I playback ... I can hear the audio that has recorded. Would love to figure out how to monitor the sound live. I'm on a MacBook Pro running 10.14.6. Attached is a screenshot of my Advanced Audio Properties.
Thanks!

So you need to go to the audio mixer and click the gear icon for the audio source you want to listen to. Then click Advanced Audio Properties, then change the option under "Audio Monitoring" for the audio source you want to listen to. Monitor Only means that you can hear the audio through your audio output(headphones, speaker etc), and Monitor and Output means that it will be part of your recording as well as what you can hear when monitoring.
