High ms and casual lag (?)

Suddenly (after a windows update maybe?), obs is getting me a ms of 1.0 sometimes going up to 4.0.
Before, I didn't go over 0.8.
I'm running an i7 12700h with a 3050ti and 32gb ram.
I use the pc only for obs.
I've never changed the settings. Even leaving it in standby, I've lost frames.

Was there any particular update?

I tried to deactivate all the objects in the scene, and the one that raises the ms exponentially is the cam.
It never gave me this problem before.
Do you have ideas?

If you're recording using same as streaming just don't. Use NVENC encoder and use one of the presets that ajust to the quality you want. Test.
Normally this is automatically selected when running the Auto-configuration Wizard (tools menu), aplying the settings it give without changing a dot of it and then restart OBS to test it.
If it works fine, you can test selecting a better recoding quality preset.

And, after any Win 11 update you should check the GPU driver because microsoft tends to update drivers to an older version than the one you just have.
