High ingame ping when streaming

Currently when streaming my ingame Ping in LoL almost doubles from 18ms to ~34 ms. I used to be able to stream the game with no issues around my regular 18-20 ms. Even reduing my bitrate to 2000kbps only got me to about 24ms when streaming in full HD. Reducing the resolution in itself also didn't seem to gain me any latency boost at all.

Before you start streaming, go to Settings > Advanced > Network, enable "Enable TCP Pacing", [Apply], [OK].

Hi!

That seems to have fixed the problem, thank you very much!
Would you mind giving an explanation as to what might've been the cause?

Cheers

The cause, most likely, is 2 latency sensitive applications; OBS and your game. TCP pacing attempts to make RTMP output friendlier to other latency sensitive applications, such as online games, on the local network by regulating the rate of transmission.
