High gpu load at 4K - can someone do a quick test for me?

My RTX 4000 hits 100% after encoding to 4K with using 2 Tears of Steel 4K sources.
To troubleshoot I used some static images:
When I stream a static image at 4K my gpu load goes to 65%
When I steam a static image at 1080p my gpu load starts at 18%
Can someone verify that this is normal?

What Preset are you trying to use & are you encoding (2) streams?

My Turing encoder is 72-74% utilized when I'm encoding (3) 1080p streams concurrently using the HQ Preset.

Low, 10% when I'm running 2 streams & a recording. I generally monitor my streams with VLC & each instance adds 11% so 32% total.

Not sure what you are defining as jump.

Does the utilization fluctuate, yes, 2-3%.

If you want further help, post a log with recording/streaming sessions.

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
