I have been streaming for the past 3 weeks an just 2 days ago my stream has been falling apart. Everything was perfect quality then all of a sudden I get on 2 days ago and my viewers are complaining that the stream quality is blurr and it lags.

Now Ever since that happened I have exhausted all of my reaoueces by looking up tutorials, reading up on all the settings of OBS stand for and I can't seem to find a fix to this. I literally factory reset my computer thinking it was probably an issue with my computer but that didn't fix it.

My settings for OBS studio were:
1500 bitrate
60FPS
720P resolution
Lanzecs
New York server (closest to me and recommended by the twitch test tool)
And the rest are default.

I tried changing everything as well to give it more priority but it doesn't seem to affect the twitch stream at all it's all blurry and ugly. Like I said before everything was crispy HD quality and all of a sudden it decided to have a tantrum and messed up.

I spent $6000 on this PC for streaming/gaming and I know it can't be my computer.

UPLOAD: 3.00MB
Download : 61MB

My Specs:
i7-6950x
2 SLI GTX EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1080
32GB J.Skill Ripjaw Memory
1000W EVGA Battery
ASUS ROG RAMPAGE V EDITION 10
4K Monitor ASUS (downscaled output to 720p 30fps)

Help me please?

Twitch Recommended for 720p a bitrate between 1800-2500. And thats for 30FPS. Try 2200-2500 and see if this help.

I can only max it out as 2500 based on my internet speeds but i don't understand why it keeps looking choppy and blurry... i will upload my log files and a picture/video of my stream

Where do u downscale your 4k Monitor? In the Display itself? Because you send 60FPS out of OBS, right?. If you downscale the Display itself to 30FPS, there is no Reason to push 60 out of OBS. Because there are only 30FPS from your Display.

You said you're downscaling to "downscaled output to 720p 30fps" but earlier you said you're sending 720p60 to Twitch at 1500kbps. That's the disconnect that NicOnAcid is pointing out. Which is correct?

Post an OBS log file from an attempt to stream using the best settings you've figured out so far, make sure it is at least 5 minutes long and of high action content.
Post the VOD link that corresponds with the above log file.

1500kbps is too low for 60fps, if that's what you're doing. 1500kbps probably is too low for 720p at 30fps too, unless you're playing something very low-action, like a card game, or something. As was said, you need more like 2500kbps or more for that.

If I had to guess, its blurry because your bitrate is too small. But it could be something else, which is why you should post the log file.

You say this happened two days ago, so additionally link a VOD from before it happened along with a log file from that, so we can see what changed.

The settings and performance look fine to me, you were using 1800kbps for that. I think you should stick to 30fps if you can't stream at a higher bitrate. Also your computer is good enough so try changing to Faster preset from Very Fast.

Dnt have much time,on lunch break and cant figure how to start my own post so excuse me if im violating any rules..But i will like to know if my computer is capable of streaming 1080p60fps
what are my streaming options with a 7th gen i7-7500U dual-core 4 way process performance? Can I stream 1080p 60fps or am I restricted to 720 60fps or cant even stream in 60fps??Please respond.
Im really not able to stream with obs,but through elgato software Im able to stream 1080p30fps with no issues really,,with mutliple overlays and webcam, but thru obs I ALWAYS get the high encoding message.Always using elgato hd60 streaming from my xbox one

I haven't tried 1080p60fps with elgato software yet because if any scenes/webcam is added it restricts it to 30fps no matter wat and I want scenes and webcam. Also dnt know if its a issue with obs directly because even when i just do local recording it starts to lag and get all choppy

Miles you need to make your own thread so as not to de-rail this one. Your issue is probably completely unrelated to the OP's.
