Hey there,
I've used OBS for a while now and used to stream some less graphic intense games at 720p and always did alright with minor frame drops and issues.
That was on my old pc and my current one which i consider to be somewhat high end, was having issues today trying to play and stream the new Vermintide game.
My pc specs are:
i7-6700K 4.0 GHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Gigabyte (GA-Z170X-Gaming 7) Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB 3000MHz RAM
My Internet is currently:
200Mb/s Download
12Mb/s Upload
I currently have OBS set to:
Encoder: x264
Rescale Output: 1280x720
Rate Control: CBR
Bitrate: 3500
Keyframe: 2
CPU Usage Preset: faster
Any advice at all would be great thanks!
If it helps... i get 100% cpu usage when doing OBS with Vermintide 2.... and the Memory goes to about 80% or so and GPU hovers between 70-90%
I've lowered the game settings to Medium from high and up to extreme with no real changes at all between the settings.
