I use OBS Studio on my i5-3210M 8GB RAM (64bit)
I use my elgato hd to capture my PS4 gameplay, and stream with OBS. HEre are some of my important settings:
Bitrate 1800 (I've tried everything from 1800-2500)
Encoder x264
Superfast (this is what baffles me, I think I should be able to run at fast with my specs, but veryfast uses high cpu and so does superfast)
1280x720 29.97 fps Bicubic (tried all the filters, again I think my specs should be able to handle 1920x1080 though)
Priority Above Normal
I'd also like to have spotify open but that adds like 200,000 memory to my cpu load, not sure why that's so high either. Even with spotify closed and only OBS running I hit 100% CPU easily and my stream lags terribly. I don't get it, I have 8GB of RAM!!!
