Hi all. I just ordered my new pc (to replace my old pc) and everything is better than my old pc but it’s performing worse than the old one. When I’m streaming I’m constantly getting a high CPU usage even though everything is being run off the graphics card. The only different between this pc and my old one is that it has better processor, graphics card, ram, power supply but it’s not overclocked
Can anyone help me with this issue because I paid a lot of money for this and it’s not performing like it’s meant to and I need this to do my job
Also:
- Had it since 16th December 2022
- all drivers are up to date
- I transferred my (total) 5TB hard drivers to this new pc
- running on windows 10 pro
My CPU usage goes straight from 8% to 50%+ when OBS is open and it remains there. It goes up higher when I’m streaming, even though everything is set to use my graphics card.
My old pc was always at 20% when obs was open and even streaming and the settings are exactly the same.
I’ve done everything on this forum and it’s still showing the same issue. Is it a hardware issue or obs?
