High CPU Usage in OBS at idle after Update to version 26

After updating to version 26 on Sunday OBS now idles around 22% CPU usage and simple tasks such as playing a video as a media source kicks it up to nearly 60% without streaming or recording.

Please post a log (Help -> Log Files -> Upload Current Log) and post the link.

Additionally, try with an empty scene collection to see if the issue is caused by a source.

Use the Scene Collection menu at the top of OBS, select New, and call it "Testing" and check CPU usage again.
