Hi guys all right? So I'm having a problem with High Encoding but in a way different from the common one, it starts before when I used obs and I never had problems, but recently this haunts me, I had an I5 - 2530 and it was quiet the use for recordings, but in streaming ... it was sad. So, here I decide to buy a new processor, nothing so expensive because here in Brazil life is complicated.
I5-7400 @ 3.00 Ghz with possibility of overclocking to 4.00 Ghz That's my new processor.
So, still not happy, I decided to change my video card too, from a GTX 550 Ti to a GTX 1060
Thus, the donkey that speaks to you, thought he would finally have gotten rid of this terror which is the high encoding But no, I can now play all the games I've ever wanted, including emulators, but no streaming.
Sorry for the history, go to the problem: Behold without streaming a game rimworld style consumes on average 20% of the CPU (including OBS, Discord, Mozilla Firefox). When I resolve to stream, Boom, 100% of CPU.
Searching the internet, including this beautiful forum, I have seen the solutions, decrease resolution, see the sources that are, but none of that is solution, I already did streaming in 240P and still continues with the same problem.
So I decided to do a streaming with the task manager open, and find that I have 100% CPU. 54% Ram. and 10% GPU.
I've tried X264 QSV and NVENC but all have the same problem, even when I use NVENC the CPU goes to 100% but the same GPU stays quiet in its 20%
And before you ask, Yes I tried to use the automatic setup wizard of OBS, which would throw me in high resolutions 60FPS and High bitrate, that is, where is my problem?
So, is there a light at the end of the tunnel? or do I have to give up streaming?
Thanks for the patience =)
