Question / Help High CPU usage, especially first core.

Alright, the issue might be with League, I'm not certain. I've messaged their support as well.

Basically if obs is running, idle or streaming or recording, and I tab out of league and back in, my first core usage goes up ~40% permanently unless I relaunch and never tab out.

I've also been experiencing slight stuttering in overwatch recently, though that game should be using a lot more of my cpu and the fault might just be my hardware. I was recently able to play at 120fps and stream without stuttering though, so it seems to have started recently? Even if I lower the fps to 100/60 it seems a bit laggy, only when obs is open.

Issue mainly seems to be the first core, here is a detailed screenshot of cpu usage with league mostly.

Here's another of me in overwatch messing around with framerates.

You can see at some times the first core is maxed out and I do get occasional stuttering in general, lowering framerates seems to help most of the issues, but it's still having more trouble than it was a month ago or so.

Just feels like OBS is using more cpu than usual, I don't CPU encode atm, so really just the program running alone is causing issues for me.

Thanks, here's some logs.

I may be speaking too soon but it appears to have fixed the issue, is there a reason this was happening or something I could read that explains the issue?

Thanks a lot!

Nothing really to explain. Avast game mode stops all other programs from using CPU by pinning them to a single core, this supposedly optimizes your game. Not really sure why an antivirus program would have such a feature but there you go.
