I'm trying to use OBS studio for the first time as I just built a new PC and wanted to convert over from classic as it's no longer being supported and I thought I'd give it a try. Well I could figure some things out, but other settings seemed different to me so I searched up a video on YouTube to get the best quality for performance and now when I record at 20kbps it looks like 2. I'm not sure what's wrong.
I stream, but right now I'm just trying to do local recordings.
Here's my specs:
i5 6500
rx 480 4gb
8 gb ddr4 ram
120GB SSD for OS, apps and some games, and a 1 TB HDD for all other games and videos. The game I'm currently trying to record is on the SSD and the videos are being saved to the HDD.
